Blood donation programme and lamp lighting held on the occasion of 24th Foundation Day (Birthday)

Damak, Jhapa | Senior Citizen Respect Foundation Nepal has grandly completed its voluntary blood donation programme by assimilating social responsibility on the occasion of its 24th Foundation Day (Birth Anniversary). The technical support of the program was provided by Nepal Red Cross Society, Damak Branch. The programme was inaugurated by lighting 24 candles to mark the 24th Foundation Day (Birthday) of the Foundation. Recalling the organization's 24 years of dedication to social service, humanity and senior citizens through lamp lighting, a commitment was made to continue the same service work in the days to come. Mr. Durga Prasad Poudel, President of the Foundation, Mrs. Urmila Bhattarai, Deputy Secretary General, and other social workers and local personalities including Central Member Mr. Rudra Bahadur Khadka enthusiastically contributed to the success of the program by donating blood. Speakers at the event embraced the message of “blood donation, life donation” and urged all healthy citizens to donate voluntary blood from time to time as regular blood donations can save the lives of countless patients. Senior Citizen Respect Foundation Nepal has been continuously running various programs for the past 24 years for the respect of senior citizens, social service, human welfare and the benefit of the community. Organized on the occasion of Foundation Day (Birthday), this blood donation program has further strengthened the organization's commitment to humanitarian service and social responsibility.
